I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.

Creating a Child of Taurus
Size and Type: Size and type are unchanged.
Defensive Abilities: A creature startouched has all the defensive abilities of the base creature, and gains the following:
Font of Life (Su): Whenever a child of Taurus is subject to a death spell or magical death effect that requires a save, you can roll twice and take the better result.
Special Qualities: A startouched creature retains all the base creature’s special qualities and gains those described here.
Brave (Su): For every 10 points of damage a child of Taurus takes in any given round, he gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls, saving throws, and skill checks made in the following round (maximum +5). If no damage is received for three rounds, then bonuses granted by brave are reset.
Clinging to Life (Su): You always ignore the effects of reaching 0 hit points or fewer for a number of rounds equal to 1 + constitution modifier. During this time, you still receive damage as normal and suffer from the appropriate consequences of your current hit point total when the effect ends. In addition, if your hit points are reduced to a negative amount equal to twice your constitution score while this ability is in effect you instantly turn to stone.
